2 Corinthians 1:19
The Bible in 2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verse 19 says:
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea.
Interpretation of 2 Corinthians Chapter 1 Verse 19
In this verse, Paul is emphasizing the truthfulness of the Gospel that he, along with Silvanus and Timothy, had preached in the church of Corinth. He is contrasting the truthfulness of the Gospel with the world’s tendency to be inconsistent with its promises and opinions. He is making the point that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is not like the world in that He is always consistent; in Him, there is always a “yes” and that is because He is the truth.
