1 Timothy 5:13

And withal they learn also [to be] idle, going about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 5 Verse 13

In 1 Timothy 5:13, Paul is warning against the dangers of allowing young women to become idle. He says that they often wander from house to house, becoming tattlers and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. Paul encourages Timothy to teach the younger women to be busy, working with their hands, so that they may be an example of good works to others. By remaining busy and productive, they can be a witness to the power of the gospel.
