Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 4 Verse 13

In 1 Timothy 4:13, the apostle Paul encourages Timothy to continue in the pursuit of knowledge and to practice what he teaches. He tells him to devote himself to reading, to giving of his own wisdom and to teaching others until Paul can come and meet with him. Paul wants Timothy to use the time he has now to learn, to apply his learning, and to share his knowledge with others. The passage is a reminder that knowledge and wisdom can be used to benefit not only ourselves, but also those around us.
