Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 3 Verse 2
1 Timothy 3:2 teaches us about the qualifications of a Bishop. The Bishop must be above reproach and have a good reputation. He must be married to one wife and be self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, and able to teach. These qualifications are important for a Bishop to have in order to serve faithfully and effectively in the church.
