Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 2 Verse 14

In this verse from 1 Timothy, Paul is referring to the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. As the first humans, they were tempted by the serpent and the woman, Eve, was the one who was deceived and committed the first sin. Adam was not deceived, but he still partook in the forbidden fruit. This verse is a warning to all men and women to be wary of temptation and to be wise in the eyes of God.
