1 Timothy 1:18
The Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 18 says:
This charge I commit unto thee, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which led the way to thee, that by them thou mayest war the good warfare;
Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 18
In 1 Timothy 1:18, Paul is giving Timothy a charge or command. He is reminding Timothy of the prophecies that were given about him and his calling. Paul is encouraging Timothy to use these prophecies to fight the good fight of faith and serve faithfully in the ministry he has been given. He is also reminding Timothy that the strength for this fight comes from God and not from himself.
