But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope.

Interpretation of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 Verse 13

This verse in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 is reminding believers that those who have passed away in death are not gone forever. It is encouraging those who are grieving to remember that those who have died have hope of being reunited with God in heaven. This verse is also a reminder that those who have hope in Jesus Christ do not have to grieve in the same way as those who do not have hope.
