1 Thessalonians 4:1

The Bible in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 Verse 1 says:

Finally then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, even as ye do walk, –that ye abound more and more.

Interpretation of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 Verse 1

Paul is writing to the Church of Thessalonians and is encouraging them to continue to live in a way that pleases God. He reminds them of what they have already been taught and encourages them to continue to grow and become even more devoted to God and His commands. He reminds them that their lives should be an example of how to please God. He encourages them to abound more and more in their faith and in the way they live.
