By Silvanus, our faithful brother, as I account [him], I have written unto you briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand ye fast therein.

Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 5 Verse 12

In 1 Peter 5:12, the apostle Peter is writing to the church, exhorting them to stand firm in the true grace of God. He is writing this letter with the help of Silvanus, whom he identifies as a faithful brother. Peter is writing briefly, but is affirming the truth of what he is saying.
