Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 4 Verse 3

This passage from 1 Peter is a warning to believers to not be like those in the Gentile world who waste their time in sinful activities such as lasciviousness, lust, drunkenness, revelry, carousing, and idolatry. Instead, believers should use their time to serve God and do good works in his name. The apostle Peter is reminding Christians that they should not be like the people in the world around them, but rather should strive to live according to God’s commands and serve him faithfully.
