1 Peter 2:20
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 20 says:
For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted [for it], ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer [for it], ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 20
In 1 Peter 2:20, the apostle Peter encourages Christians to take suffering patiently, both when they sin and when they do well. He explains that patience in the face of suffering due to sin is a sign of God’s glory, but patience in the face of suffering when doing well is even more pleasing to God. This verse reminds us that we should not become discouraged or give up when we are suffering, but instead find strength in God’s promises and remain faithful to Him in all circumstances.
