1 Peter 1:23
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 23 says:
having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 23
1 Peter 1:23 speaks of the new birth believers experience when they come to faith in Jesus Christ. This new birth is the result of the incorruptible seed, the Word of God, which lives and remains forever. Through the Word, believers are born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible—born from above, adopted into the family of God, and given a new spiritual life. As Christians, we are to live according to this new life, which is guided and empowered by the Word of God.
