1 John Chapter 2 Verse 13

1 John 2:13

The Bible in 1 John Chapter 2 Verse 13 says:

I write unto you, fathers, because ye know him who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the evil one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye know the Father.

Interpretation of 1 John Chapter 2 Verse 13

This verse from 1 John 2:13 is a reminder to Christians that no matter their age or stage in life, they can have a relationship with God. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Those who are older, or “fathers”, are reminded that they know Him who is from the beginning. For those who are younger, or “young men”, they are reminded that they have triumphed over the evil one. Lastly, to those who are “little children”, they are reminded that they too can know the Father. In this way, all Christians can have an intimate relationship with God, no matter their age.
