2 Kings 11:15
The Bible in 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 15 says:
And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth between the ranks; and him that followeth her slay with the sword. For the priest said, Let her not be slain in the house of Jehovah.
Interpretation of 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 15
Jehoiada the priest ordered the captains of hundreds to take Athaliah, the wicked mother of King Ahaziah, out of the temple of the Lord and execute her. He warned them not to kill her in the temple, as it would be a desecration of the Lord’s house. Athaliah was then killed in the palace courtyard, and her death ended her wicked reign.
