2 Kings 11:5
The Bible in 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 5 says:
And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king’s house;
Interpretation of 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 5
In 2 Kings 11:5, King Jehoiada orders some of the people who have come to the kingdom on the Sabbath to serve as guards at the king’s palace. He instructs them to divide into three groups, with one third being assigned as watchmen of the palace. The purpose of these watchmen is to protect the palace and the royal family. This shows Jehoiada’s commitment to protecting the royal household.
