2 Kings 11:4
The Bible in 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 4 says:
And in the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the captains over hundreds of the Carites and of the guard, and brought them to him into the house of Jehovah; and he made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of Jehovah, and showed them the king’s son.
Interpretation of 2 Kings Chapter 11 Verse 4
In the seventh year of his rule, King Jehoiada took action to protect the throne of Israel by gathering the captains of hundreds of the Carites and of the guard. He brought them to the House of the Lord and made a covenant with them, taking an oath of them in the House of the Lord and showing them the king’s son. This was done to ensure that the throne of Israel was protected from any outside threats.
