The Bible in Revelation Chapter 12 Verse 14 says:
And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 12 Verse 14
In Revelation 12:14, the woman is symbolically described as being given two wings of a great eagle so that she can fly away to a place of safety in the wilderness. She is given a period of protection and nourishment there for a period of time, times, and half a time, which is often interpreted to mean three and a half years. This is to keep her safe from the face of the serpent, which symbolizes the devil.
