1 John 3:17
The Bible in 1 John Chapter 3 Verse 17 says:
But whoso hath the world’s goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him?
Interpretation of 1 John Chapter 3 Verse 17
1 John 3:17 emphasizes that the love of God cannot abide in someone who has the world’s goods and yet turns away from a brother in need, refusing to offer his compassion. God desires that we love and take care of one another, especially those who are in need. We should show compassion and generosity to one another, just as God has shown us mercy and grace. The love of God should be expressed through our actions towards our brothers and sisters in need.
