1 John 3:13
The Bible in 1 John Chapter 3 Verse 13 says:
Marvel not, brethren, if the world hateth you.
Interpretation of 1 John Chapter 3 Verse 13
1 John 3:13 is a call to the believers to not be surprised when the world hates them. It is a reminder that their faith in Jesus will cause them to stand out in the world and not conform to the world’s standards. The world will hate them because they are living a life that is contrary to what the world expects and they will be persecuted for it. The verse also reminds believers that they should not be surprised or discouraged when they are persecuted, because Jesus himself was persecuted and hated by the world. The verse is a call to stand firm in faith and trust in God.
