2 Peter 3:16
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 16 says:
as also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; wherein are some things hard to be understood, which the ignorant and unstedfast wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 16
In 2 Peter 3:16, the apostle Peter is warning his readers about dangerous misinterpretations of Scripture. He warns them that some of his letters are difficult to understand, and that the ignorant and untrustworthy can twist the meaning of the passages to suit their own purposes, resulting in their own destruction. He urges his readers to pay attention to the proper interpretation of Scripture, rather than trusting in their own interpretations.
