Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 7

In 2 Peter 3:7, the apostle Peter is warning ungodly people of the coming judgment. He says that by the word of God, the heavens and the earth have been reserved for fire. This is a reference to the Day of Judgment, when the wicked will be judged and destroyed. Peter urges his readers to live holy and godly lives, in order to escape the coming judgment. He encourages them to stay focused on the coming of Jesus Christ, who will bring justice and righteousness to the world.
