Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 21

In 2 Peter 2:21, the Apostle Peter is warning against turning away from the teachings of God. He is saying that it would be better for those who have been taught about the ways of righteousness to never have known them than to turn away from the Holy Commandments once they have been learned. This verse speaks to the importance of continuing to follow the teachings of God and to not allow oneself to be swayed by temptations of sin.
