2 Peter 2:20
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 20 says:
For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the last state is become worse with them than the first.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 20
2 Peter 2:20 is warning believers not to fall back into their old sinful ways after they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is saying that if they do, the consequences of their actions will be worse than before they accepted Christ. The verse is cautioning Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, rather than to fall away and suffer the consequences of their actions.
