2 Peter 2:19
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 19 says:
promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he also brought into bondage.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 19
In 2 Peter 2:19, Peter is warning against false teachers who are misleading people by promising them freedom while they are actually enslaved to corrupt desires and practices. He is saying that if a person gives into these false teachings, they will be enslaved by them, and will not be able to gain the freedom they were promised. Ultimately, Peter is cautioning against believing the teachings of false teachers and encourages the reader to remain faithful to God.
