2 Peter 1:14
The Bible in 2 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 14 says:
knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle cometh swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ signified unto me.
Interpretation of 2 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 14
2 Peter 1:14 is referring to the death of the apostle Peter. He is saying that he knows his earthly body is going to die soon and he is ready for it, having been warned by Jesus. He is looking forward to his body being with the Lord and is ready to depart this life. He is also encouraging the readers to be ready for their own death and to prepare themselves for eternity.
