1 Peter 5:13
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 5 Verse 13 says:
She that is in Babylon, elect together with [you], saluteth you; and [so doth] Mark my son.
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 5 Verse 13
In 1 Peter 5:13, Peter is sending greetings to the recipients of his letter from Babylon, where he is currently living. He mentions Mark his son, who is also in Babylon, and sends his greetings to the recipients. The overall message of the verse is that although Peter and Mark may be far away, they are still connected to the people of faith in the places to which the letter is being sent. Peter is sending his love and well-wishes to those far away from him, and encouraging the recipients to keep the faith.
