1 Peter 4:7
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 4 Verse 7 says:
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore of sound mind, and be sober unto prayer:
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 4 Verse 7
In 1 Peter 4:7, the apostle Peter encourages Christians to remain sober-minded and be in prayer as the end times are near. He encourages them to be spiritually alert and to be watchful because the time is short. He reminds them to be sober in their thinking, to be self-controlled, and to be devoted to prayer. Peter encourages them to remain steadfast in their faith and to remain focused on living a life of holiness and godliness. He reminds them to live a life of faith and obedience to God’s will, and to be ready for the Lord’s return.
