1 Peter 4:2
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 4 Verse 2 says:
that ye no longer should live the rest of your time in flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 4 Verse 2
In 1 Peter 4:2, Christians are called to live the rest of their lives no longer according to the desires and demands of worldly people, but instead according to the will of God. This means that we should strive to be obedient to God’s commands, even if it means going against the desires of those around us. We should also seek to please God by living a life of holiness, rather than seeking to please the world by indulging in its sinful pleasures. Ultimately, our lives should be focused on God and His will, not the desires of the world.
