1 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 6

1 Peter 3:6

The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 6 says:

as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose children ye now are, if ye do well, and are not put in fear by any terror.

Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 3 Verse 6

In 1 Peter 3:6, Peter is reminding believers of the example of Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him “lord.” Peter is saying that if believers do what is right and do not allow fear to stop them from living according to God’s will, then they, too, will become children of Abraham. In essence, the verse is reminding us that believers should strive to live a life of obedience to God, and not be swayed by fear or terror.
