1 Peter 1:13
The Bible in 1 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 13 says:
Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Interpretation of 1 Peter Chapter 1 Verse 13
In 1 Peter 1:13, the apostle Peter encourages believers to be alert and to focus their thoughts and hopes on the grace of Jesus Christ that will be revealed when he returns. He urges them to prepare their minds and hearts by girding up their loins, a metaphor for tightening their mental belts and being disciplined and sober in their thoughts.
