James 3:2
The Bible in James Chapter 3 Verse 2 says:
For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also.
Interpretation of James Chapter 3 Verse 2
James 3:2 is a warning to us to be careful with our words because of the power they have to hurt others. It is saying that if we can control our words, we can control our whole body. It is encouraging us to strive for perfection, reminding us that if we are able to keep our tongues in check, we will be able to master our entire being. It is a reminder that we should strive to be perfect in all things, including our speech.
