Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 22
James 2:22 is teaching us that faith and works should go hand in hand. When faith is combined with action, it is made perfect. Faith by itself is incomplete, and so must be accompanied by works. This verse teaches us that true faith will lead to good works, and that faith without works is dead.
