James 2:12
The Bible in James Chapter 2 Verse 12 says:
So speak ye, and so do, as men that are to be judged by a law of liberty.
Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 12
James 2:12 is reminding Christians to carefully consider their words and actions as they will be judged by God’s law of liberty. This passage encourages Christians to be mindful of what they say and do because their eternal salvation is at stake. God’s law of liberty is one that is full of mercy, grace and forgiveness for those who follow it, but also one that requires accountability and justice for those who don’t. The lesson to be learned is that Christians should always live and speak with integrity, knowing that God is ever-watchful and all-knowing, and will judge them accordingly.
