James 2:11
The Bible in James Chapter 2 Verse 11 says:
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 11
James 2:11 is emphasizing the importance of following the law of God. It is pointing out that if someone breaks one part of the law, they are breaking all of it. Even if someone does not commit adultery, if they kill, they are still committing a sin and are in violation of the law. This passage is encouraging us to live a life of obedience to God’s commands and to not be selective in which parts of his law we follow.
