Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 15

Hebrews 9:15

The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 15 says:

And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 15

Hebrews 9:15 speaks of Jesus being the mediator of the New Covenant, which God promised in the Old Testament. It was through Jesus’ death that the sins of those who were under the first covenant were redeemed and forgiven, thus allowing them to receive the promise of eternal life. Jesus is the only way to receive eternal life, and He is the only one who can make this promise possible.
