Hebrews 7:19
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 19 says:
(for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in thereupon of a better hope, through which we draw nigh unto God.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 19
Hebrews 7:19 speaks of the inadequacy of the Mosaic law, and how it could not provide perfect righteousness. It then speaks of a better hope that was brought in through Jesus Christ, which allows us to draw near to God. Through Jesus, we can have access to the perfect righteousness of God, and be reconciled to Him. This hope was made possible by Jesus’s death and resurrection, and is the basis of our salvation.
