Hebrews 7:15
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 15 says:
And [what we say] is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there ariseth another priest,
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 15
This verse in the book of Hebrews is referring to Jesus. It is saying that it is abundantly clear that Jesus is like Melchizedek, a priest in the Old Testament. This is an example of how Jesus is a priest unlike any other, because He is a priest after the order of Melchizedek and not after the order of Aaron. Jesus surpasses the Old Testament priesthood and is a priest for all eternity, able to offer a perfect and complete salvation for all who believe on Him.
