Hebrews 7:6
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 6 says:
but he whose genealogy is not counted from them hath taken tithes of Abraham, and hath blessed him that hath the promises.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 6
Hebrews 7:6 declares that Jesus, who was not a physical descendant of Abraham, still took tithes from him and blessed him who had the promises. The passage is referring to the fact that Jesus was a spiritual descendant of Abraham, not a physical one. By taking tithes from Abraham, Jesus was showing that his spiritual connection to the patriarch was just as strong as any physical connection. He also blessed Abraham for having the promises of God, which were fulfilled in Jesus and his saving work. This passage is an important reminder that Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises made to Abraham and that his spiritual connection to Abraham is just as strong as any physical one.
