Hebrews 6:5
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 6 Verse 5 says:
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come,
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 6 Verse 5
Hebrews 6:5 speaks of those who have tasted the good word of God, and experienced the power of the age to come. It is a reminder that the Christian life is to be lived in the power of the age to come, that is, the age of the Kingdom of God. The good word of God is a foretaste of the power of God that will be available in the age to come. In this life, we can experience a taste of the power of the age to come through faith in the promises of God, and by living in obedience to His commands. Ultimately, the power of the age to come will be fully realized in the resurrection of the dead, and the coming of the Kingdom of God.
