Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 3 Verse 7

Hebrews 3:7 is a reminder that the Lord speaks to us and that we should pay attention to his voice. The verse is quoting from Psalm 95:7, which states: “For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To-day if ye will hear his voice.” This verse is a call to listen to the Lord’s voice and be faithful to him. It is a reminder that, even though God is great and all-powerful, he still desires a relationship with us through his Word. When we listen to his voice and obey his commands, we will be blessed and have peace.
