2 Timothy 4:5
The Bible in 2 Timothy Chapter 4 Verse 5 says:
But be thou sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfil thy ministry.
Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 4 Verse 5
2 Timothy 4:5 is a reminder to Timothy to remain sober and to be prepared to suffer hardship as he works to fulfill his ministry as an evangelist. Paul encourages Timothy to remain steadfast in his faith, despite whatever trials he may face. He reminds him of the importance of his role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others and of his responsibility to help build up the church. He reminds him that God is with him and will give him the strength he needs to carry out his ministry.
