Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 4 Verse 4

2 Timothy 4:4 is a warning from the apostle Paul to Timothy about how some people will resist the truth of the gospel and instead turn to myths and fables. He exhorts Timothy to preach the word of God, be diligent in his work, and to not be afraid of the opposition he will face. He encourages Timothy to remain steadfast and never be discouraged by those who reject the truth. Paul also reminds Timothy that his ministry will come to an end when the Lord returns. Paul finishes the chapter by reminding Timothy that the Lord will reward him for his faithfulness.
