Interpretation of 2 Timothy Chapter 3 Verse 3
2 Timothy 3:3 is referring to the “perilous times” that will come in the last days. It describes people who are without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, and no lovers of good. These are people who have no love for others, and who take pleasure in speaking ill of others. They are also characterized by a lack of restraint, and an inability to recognize what is good. These people are a sign of the times, and a warning to believers to remain vigilant in their faith and to remain true to the Lord.
