1 Timothy 6:11
The Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 11 says:
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 11
In 1 Timothy 6:11, Paul is instructing Timothy, a man of God, to flee from anything that is contrary to godliness and righteousness. He is to instead pursue godliness, righteousness, faith, love, patience, and meekness. These traits are essential for any Christian, and by following these teachings, Timothy will become a better example for other believers. Paul is warning Timothy to stay away from the materialistic and worldly temptations that can lead him away from the Lord. He is reminding him that true happiness and contentment come from living a life dedicated to God.
