1 Timothy 6:9
The Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 9 says:
But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.
Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 9
In 1 Timothy 6:9, Paul is warning against the pursuit of wealth. He cautions that those who are “minded to be rich” will be tempted to indulge in foolish and destructive desires, which in turn can lead to ruin and spiritual perdition. He warns that becoming obsessed with wealth can be hazardous to one’s spiritual and physical health.
