1 Timothy 6:3
The Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 3 says:
If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 6 Verse 3
1 Timothy 6:3 is a warning from the Apostle Paul to the Church that doctrines and teachings that are not in line with the words of Jesus, and teachings which are not according to godliness, should not be followed. Paul wants to make sure that the Church is grounded in the truth of Jesus’ words and that they are not being led astray by false teachings. He is encouraging the Church to stay true to the teachings of Jesus and to reject any teaching that does not align with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ.
