1 Timothy 1:3
The Bible in 1 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 3 says:
As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine,
Interpretation of 1 Timothy Chapter 1 Verse 3
In 1 Timothy 1:3, the Apostle Paul is giving instructions to Timothy, his protégé and fellow missionary. Paul is reminding Timothy to remain in Ephesus while he goes to Macedonia, and to give a stern warning to those who are teaching false doctrine. Paul is reminding Timothy that it is his responsibility to continue to teach the truths of the Gospel, as God has commanded, and to not allow any false teaching to take root and affect the lives of the believers in the church.
