And now ye know that which restraineth, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

Interpretation of 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 Verse 6

2 Thessalonians 2:6 refers to the restraining power, which is the Holy Spirit, that will keep the antichrist from being revealed until God’s appointed time. The antichrist is described as “the man of sin,” and the “son of perdition,” and he will be revealed during the end times. The Holy Spirit will restrain the antichrist from being revealed until God’s appointed time, which is when He will send Jesus back to Earth. This verse is a reminder that God is in control and He will send Jesus back at the right time.
