Interpretation of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 3 Verse 2
The Apostle Paul, who wrote 1 Thessalonians, sent Timothy to the Christians in Thessalonica to encourage them and to strengthen their faith. Timothy was a Christian brother, a minister of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was sent to the Thessalonians to help them stand firm in the faith, to be established in it, and to be comforted by it. The Thessalonians were facing persecution, so Timothy’s visit was intended to give them courage and strength in their faith.
