1 Thessalonians 2:17
The Bible in 1 Thessalonians Chapter 2 Verse 17 says:
But we, brethren, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence not in heart, endeavored the more exceedingly to see your face with great desire:
Interpretation of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 2 Verse 17
In 1 Thessalonians 2:17, Paul expresses deep sorrow for being separated from the Thessalonians for a short time, although he was not with them physically, he was with them in spirit. He expresses his great desire to see them again, and his effort to make that happen. Paul encourages the Thessalonians to keep their faith strong, even in their separation, and to remain devoted to God and His teachings.
